Du kan komme innom mørkerommet for å se månedens utstiling og kikke gjennom eller kjøpe bilder laget for hånd av fotografene som arbeider her. Eller om du bor lenger unna er det også mulig å bla gjennom tilgjengelige bilder på webgalleriet.
I juli viser vi bildene "Agua” av fotograf Elisa Halvorsen Castillo og bildene “lith prints” av fotograf Daniel Rauch
-”Agua” is photobook made using a Risograph printer. It is a compilation of analog photos of different water textures, taken and collected during wanderings in the confusing days of the pandemic. Every time walking without a specific direction, always ending up going towards water. Water has a calming effect and feels like home. During this pandemic, communication has change so much. Sometimes, we even forget how to speak, for not having had the chance to say a word for so long. Water can communicate so much, in such universal way, without any word.
-”lith prints” are the newest handmade prints by photographer Daniel Rauch. He works with the lith printing process and using old expired photopaper and long development times he conjures up colourful black and white prints with beautiful detail and tonal range.
Focusing on buildings, landscapes and places his images seem timeless and yet very present.
Elisa Halvorsen Castillo has a MFA in medium and material based art from KHiO studert and Daniel Rauch is a self-taught printer working with lith prints in the Cyan darkroom for a long time.
