This workshop introduces the experimental technique of Silver Mirroring Toning on B&W darkroom prints. It is suitable for participants with basic B&W printing skills who wish to explore a rarely taught process that transforms Silver Mirroring—from a type of photographic decay—into a striking metallic and aesthetic effect.

  • Ca 4 hours

  • 17/11 at 5PM - 9PM

  • Instructor: Lexy Liangzi Xiao

  • 2-6 participants

  • 1500,- (including all materials)
(20% discount for members and Nordic Analog Network photographers)

  • The workshop will be in English and is open also for you who are not a member of the darkroom.

Participants will make B&W prints from their own negatives, learn the steps of the indirect Silver Mirroring Toning process, gain insight into the necessary chemicals and materials, and practice the technique under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
The workshop will be useful for both the experienced and the newcomer to the analog darkroom practice.
