The Nordic Analog Network is a collaboration between 10 differen open darkrooms in the Nordic region.
In Nov-Dec 2025 there will be an exhibition of the network artists from the residency program and the artist-run darkrooms of the network, at the Old Munch Museum Arthall in Oslo, Norway.
The Nordic Analog Network is a collaboration between 10 differen open darkrooms in the Nordic region, organized by CYAN studio.
In 2024 the networks artist residency program has invited 11 artists to take part in individual artists residencies at the different darkrooms. This will be an online presentation of the artists that took part where you can hear their experience and see what they have worked on during their residencies.
I september får CYAN mørkerom besøk av en ny Artist in Residence og vi inviterer til en Meet&Greet med svenske Vanni Jung Ståhle. Hun er utvalgt kunstner fra Nordic Analog Network sitt program med mørkeromsutveklsinger i Norden og arbeider med personlige prosjekter som tar utgangspunkt i et dokumentarisk fotografisk blikk.
I august får CYAN mørkerom av en ny Artist in residence og vi inviterer til en Meet&Greet med finske Joonas Ahtikallio. Han er en av fotografene som driver det finske Center for Creative Photography/Luovake og er med som partner i Nordic Analog Network.
Første søndag i mai viser CYAN mørkeromsgalleri en presentasjon av den svenske fotokunstneren Erik Gustafsson, som har vært Nordic Analog Network sin utvalgte Artist in Residence ved CYAN mørkerom den siste måneden.
Siste søndag i november viser CYAN galleri en presentasjon av den svenske fotokunstneren Ingrid Jacobsen, som har vært Nordic Analog Network sin utvalgte Artist in Residence ved CYAN mørkerom den siste måneden.

Deadline to apply is 15th December and the 12 residency periods are spread out through 2024.

This is the Nordic Analog Network´s first open call for a Darkroom Exchange. This first round opens up for one Norwegian photo artist to be invited to an Artist Residency at the Helsinki “Mörk” darkroom while one Finnish photo artist will be invited to the CYAN darkroom in Oslo.
Residency period will be 3 weeks in October or November 2022 and deadline to apply is 15.August.
